A celebration of blossom season in bold colour: in this impressionist oil painting, clusters of white cherry and plum blossom open along dark, slender branches that sweep down from the top of the canvas, each stem picked out with bright flashes of blue. Behind them, a vivid scarlet and coral-red ground makes every petal glow, turning a delicate spring subject into a confident statement piece.

Impressionist oil painting of white cherry or plum blossom on dark, slender branches with bright blue highlights, cascading from the top left across a vivid scarlet and coral-red background, painted in textured brushstrokes and signed MATSON lower left.
Living-room mockup of a white blossom painting on a scarlet background, hung as a square stretched canvas on a plain white wall above a white sofa with coral-red, white blossom-print and soft blue cushions, a light oak round coffee table with white blossom stems in a white vase, a coral and white ginger jar, a jute rug and a palm.

Painted in textured brushstrokes and signed MATSON lower left, it's striking floral wall art for Hamptons-style and modern coastal living rooms, Asian-inspired interiors, bedrooms and entryways. As the mockup shows, it looks wonderful on a plain white wall above a white sofa, styled with coral-red and blossom-print cushions, a soft blue accent cushion, a light oak coffee table, white blossom stems and a red-and-white ginger jar.
