Some beach days are all about softness: pale sand, gentle light and umbrellas in candy colours. In this pastel beach painting, pink, yellow, lilac, pale blue and blue-and-white striped umbrellas are scattered along the shore, with two blue deckchairs and a wicker basket in the foreground. Bathers wade at the water's edge, tiny white sailboats cross a turquoise sea, and a rocky headland rises on the right beneath soft clouds. The oil paint is laid on thickly, so the sand, surf and sky have a lovely sculpted texture, and little pink flowers frame the bottom corners.

Square beach scene oil painting in thick, textured paint, with pink, yellow, blue-and-white striped, pale blue and lilac umbrellas on pale sand, two blue deckchairs and a wicker basket at bottom left, bathers at the water's edge, a turquoise sea with tiny white sailboats, a rocky headland on the right, soft clouds in a blue sky and little pink flowers in the bottom corners.
Bright coastal living-room mockup of a square pastel beach painting with pink, yellow, blue and lilac umbrellas, a turquoise sea and a blue sky, hung on a pale blue-grey wall above an oatmeal linen sofa with blush-pink and aqua cushions and a cream knit throw, beside a rattan chair and a sheer white curtain, with a round whitewashed oak coffee table holding shells and a glass vase of white flowers on a jute rug and light oak floor.

It's calm, cheerful coastal wall art for a coastal living room, a beach house, a Hamptons-style home or a sunroom. As the mockup shows, it looks wonderful on a pale blue-grey wall above an oatmeal linen sofa, styled with blush-pink and aqua cushions, a cream knit throw, a rattan chair, a round whitewashed oak coffee table with shells and white flowers, and a jute rug.
